How this works

How I can work
with you.

Most of what I do is open to anyone who asks. I’m also a current college coach, so one slice of it — working with high school recruits — comes with real NCAA rules. Find yourself below and you’ll know exactly where you stand, before we ever talk.

Which one are you?

I’m near Salt Lake · Within about 50 miles

Your answer

Everything. On the field and off.

  • Full lacrosse training — skills, small-sided play, lacrosse IQ, competition
  • At least two in-person sessions a week, locations rotating around Salt Lake
  • It fits around the club you’re already in — a supplement, never a replacement
  • The daily peak-performance system between sessions
  • Boys and girls, all ages, all skill levels — adults welcome too

How you join, and the one rule

The on-field work happens through the club, so anyone of prospective-student-athlete age or younger takes part as a member — signing up is the whole step. To comply with applicable NCAA local sports club requirements, participants who are prospective student-athletes must be legal residents within a 50-mile radius of the University of Utah campus.

I coach a youth team · Below high-school recruiting age

Your answer

Everything, including the on-field side.

  • Peak-performance sessions with your whole team — confidence, focus, resilience, accountability
  • On-field coaching too — the recruiting limits don’t apply below that age
  • Every player gets the app, free, for the daily work between sessions
  • I’ll work with you and your staff directly, so it outlasts my visit

I coach a high school team · Any grade on the roster

Your answer

Yes — your whole roster, and you.

  • Team and group sessions with any player on your roster, any grade
  • Mentoring for you and your staff with no age restriction, year-round
  • On-field coaching too, at a camp your program runs and advertises open to any and all
  • Every player gets the app, free
  • Individual mentoring for your juniors and seniors once they’ve reached September 9 of junior year

What makes it clean

Your team has to reach out to me first — the request comes from you, not from me contacting your school — and a team session stays on mindset and peak performance. For the on-field side, your program runs the camp and posts the ad at least 14 days ahead.

I’m a coach, for myself · Any level, any sport

Your answer

Yes — no age limit, no season window.

  • I mentor coaches directly, year-round, anywhere, with no restriction at all
  • The language, the standards, and how to run the daily system with a team
  • Often the better version anyway — your players see you every day, so it outlasts any visit of mine
  • The coach tools and the app across your roster

Athlete or parent · High school age

Your answer

Yes — starting today, with one date to know.

  • The app is free right now, whatever else you do — habits, journal, goals
  • A session with your whole team any time, as soon as your coach reaches out to me
  • On the field, at any camp that’s open to any and all entrants — including one your program runs
  • One-on-one mentoring from September 9 of your junior year
  • Before that date I can still help — through your coach, or with your whole team

The one condition

One-on-one work starts at 7:00 a.m. the Wednesday after Labor Day of junior year, and even then it stays mentorship — mindset, not stick skills or game strategy.

I just want the app · Any sport, anywhere

Your answer

It’s free. No coach required, no strings.

  • Habits, journal, goals and your schedule — the daily system from the book
  • Open to any athlete, family or team, any sport, regardless of recruiting status
  • Self-directed — I don’t log in to track or review what you’re entering
  • Join a team later with a code, or never

Everything, at a glance

Every audience against every service. Nothing hidden behind a call.

The rules, in full

The two carrying bylaw citations are open — those are the ones a compliance office came to read.

Salt Lax City LC — the local club

Salt Lax City LC is a lacrosse club I founded in Salt Lake City, and it’s the one place where none of the restrictions below apply. Members train with me on the field — skills, lacrosse IQ, competition — and run the peak-performance system between sessions. Boys and girls train together, ages mix on purpose, and all skill levels are welcome.

It is built to sit alongside the club you’re already in, not instead of it — month to month, come when you can. And the on-field work is the club’s: anyone of prospective-student-athlete age or younger trains with me as a member, so signing up is the step.

One condition makes it clean: to comply with applicable NCAA local sports club requirements, participants who are prospective student-athletes must be legal residents within a 50-mile radius of the University of Utah campus. If you live locally, that’s you.

Youth teams below recruiting age

Everything on this page about sport-specific instruction exists because of recruiting rules, and recruiting rules are about prospective student-athletes. Your youth team isn’t there yet. So with those groups I’m not limited to the mental side — I can run the peak-performance material and get on the field, wherever your program needs the help.

On-field work anywhere — at your own camp

Outside Salt Lake, I can’t simply turn up and run your practice. What I can do — in any state — is work a camp your program runs. Your camp, your registration, your revenue; I come as staff for the day and coach it.

Two conditions, and both of them are yours to meet:

  • The camp is advertised open to any and all entrants — no tryout, no roster requirement, and no restriction by school, team, club or recruiting status.
  • The advertisement is posted at least 14 days before the camp. Fourteen days from the ad going public to the day itself.

The reason both exist is the same reason everything else on this page exists: the restrictions are about recruiting advantage, and a camp that is genuinely open and advertised well in advance is the opposite of a quiet advantage. Screenshot the post once it’s live — that’s the record.

Coaches and staff

I can mentor coaches directly with no age restriction, at any time of year, anywhere. That’s the version that outlasts me: I work with you on the language, the standards and how to run the daily system with a team, and you deliver it to your players — the people who see you every day. If your athletes aren’t yet at an age where I can work with them one-on-one, this is how the material still reaches them.

Team and group video calls

Anyone on your team can be on the call — this isn’t limited by grade or recruiting eligibility. Two conditions make it clean:

  • Your team has to reach out to me first — the request has to be initiated by you or your coach, not by me contacting your school.
  • No recruiting pitch, no recruiting conversation. We stay on mindset, confidence, focus, resilience — the peak-performance material, not Utah lacrosse.

This follows NCAA Bylaw 13.1.8.5 (Virtual Attendance): a staff member may join a call virtually where prospects are present if the request came from outside the staff member’s institution and no recruiting presentation or conversation occurs.

One-on-one mentoring

For an individual recruit, I can begin one-on-one calls once they’ve reached 7:00 a.m. the Wednesday after Labor Day of their junior year — the first permissible contact date for men’s lacrosse recruits under NCAA Bylaw 13.1.1.1.8.

Even after that date, it stays mentorship, not coaching. I’m building a relationship and working on mindset — I’m not teaching stick skills, game strategy, or anything sport-specific.

Before an athlete reaches that date, I can still help — just through their coach, or through a team session with their whole roster. Both are open right now.

The DojoDecision app

The app itself is free and open to any athlete or team, regardless of recruiting status. If a prospective recruit chooses to use it on their own — habits, journal, goals — I don’t log in to track or review what they’re entering. Once it’s self-directed, it’s theirs, not a recruiting activity on my end. Accounts require a minimum age of 13.
