Why I built this — Tim McDermott

I’ll always be
a coach.

I’m changing positions at my college coaching job to get back to why I got into coaching in the first place: helping kids use lacrosse as their arena to become more confident, resilient, and focused — and to enjoy the process. The byproduct is winning. I believe that so much I wrote a book, and this app puts that book into action. I don’t want to be your team’s peak-performance coach — they need their coach to be that guy: someone who cares about them and holds them responsible. I just want to share the tools I’ve built, so it’s easy to help your guys be the best they can be. That’s what leads to winning more games.

What it actually looks like

The Habits screen on a phone: three of four habits logged today, each with a streak count
Their dayTap to log. Streaks do the nagging.
The team Challenges board: cold plunge, burpees, wall ball and a conditioning test, each with a score and a rank
The scoreboardRanked on consistency, not talent.
The coach’s team view: a roster with who logged today and each athlete’s current streak

Coach HQ, Run the week: practice plans, schedule an event, team schedule, drill bank, reflections, reports, course progress and weekly review in one list

Why it helps you

Build habits, not just track them

Assign the habits and challenges your culture is built on. See who’s showing up every day — without nagging anyone.

Real mentorship visibility

Review each athlete’s shared habits, streaks, and the notes they wrote. Walk into every conversation already knowing where their head is.

Run your peak-performance system

Deliver your own mindset / development program through the app — drop in a quote or a film clip, your athletes reflect, and you see what landed. Your culture, on a schedule.

The whole development side

Relationship check-ins, evaluations, weekly reviews, your playbook — the stuff that makes you a better coach, right in the app.

Your whole team in one home

Habits, schedule, reminders, team chat, roster, your playbook — all in one place, and you can push a practice, meeting, or event to every player’s Today in a tap.

How you’ll use it

  1. 1Create your team and invite players with a private code.
  2. 2Post the habits and a challenge or leaderboard your team competes on.
  3. 3Push your schedule, practices, and reminders to everyone’s Today.
  4. 4Review athletes’ shared habits and reflections — and have better 1-on-1s.

What coaches ask

Is this just a habit tracker?

Not even close. It’s a full team-development home — daily habits, a leaderboard they compete on, your schedule and reminders, mentorship, and your own program — all in one place.

Will they actually use it?

It’s built for daily use — one-tap habit logging, team challenges they compete on, and a quiet evening reminder. It pulls them back instead of being one more chore.

Is their private stuff really private?

Athletes choose exactly which habits and notes they share with you. You see accountability and what they share — never their private journal.

How much of my time does this take?

Minutes a week. Assign your habits once, push your schedule in a tap, and review at a glance. The daily work is theirs, not yours.

What does it cost?
